Course Content
This course focuses on developing speaking and listening skills through everyday French. Emphasis is placed on conversation and the use of real-life scenarios to help students communicate naturally and confidently.
The course includes sessions on:
Greetings and introductions
Talking about family
Understanding and using the French calendar
Describing daily routines
Getting dressed and everyday activities
French breakfast culture
French lunch and dinner
Describing people and objects
Expressing emotions
A trip to the market
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
Understand how basic French sentences are structured and recognise common language patterns
Introduce yourself and talk about everyday topics such as family, daily routines, food, and shopping
Participate in simple conversations with greater confidence
Understand essential cultural aspects of French-speaking countries
Learning to speak a language requires regular practice. Throughout the course, you will take part in guided conversations and real-life role-plays designed to help you speak more naturally, reduce hesitation, and build lasting confidence.
Course Structure
Your term package includes one 1.5-hour French class per week. The total number of hours is adjusted according to the length of the academic term.
